Based in Richardson, Texas, Dr. Wayne Jones works as a psychiatric and functional medicine consultant. He assists clients with the development of comprehensive wellness, which includes working to improve cognitive function. Dr. Wayne Jones serves as part of a team consisting of a physician, a psychiatric clinical assistant, and an International Coaching Federation-credentialed mental health coach and nutritionist experienced in functional medicine.
Following his time as a major in the United States Air Force, Dr. Wayne Jones spent nearly 50 years as a private practice psychiatrist supporting patients living with various major psychiatric disorders. In 2023, he transitioned into his role as an integrative health consultant and educator. He uses his extensive working knowledge of the medical system to help clients overcome various challenges along their health and wellness journeys.
Dr. Wayne Jones is a magna cum laude psychology graduate of the University of Houston. He served as the president of the university’s Pre-med Society and Pre-med Honor Society. He earned a scholarship to the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Branch in Dallas. While working toward his medical degree, he completed a two-year psychiatry externship.
